Our Blog is simple. We want you, our customers to know how to save money on your survey. The following are items required to produce a certified survey and tips to cut cost. Some of the items can be acquired by you and furnish them to us. This alone will save the expense of research not to mention the expense of drawing revisions and delays.

 DEED (Metes and Bounds Description) of Property to be Surveyed

ADJOINER DEEDS (Metes and Bounds Descriptions) of the Property that adjoin your property and form your Boundary. (Think of this as a jig-saw puzzle with your property being the primary piece of the puzzle).

LOCATION Always furnish us with directions to your property along with landmarks that would help us identify your property. A posted Address is vital even if you have to put up something temporary. (A ribbon or something of the sort around a major tree works well). Remember that we have never been to your property!

Return trips can be costly, so make arrangements for locked gates, dogs or any thing else that would prevent and/or delay us performing our job.

NIEGHBORS Let your nieghbors we will be on your property.

PURPOSE Always let us the purpose of your Survey. If you plan to use a Title Company, get them involved right away. Have your Title Company send us Schedule A & B of your Title Report along with the person to contact.
